WORLD IS CALLING TRANSNATIONAL DUBSTEP by djumb

This is DJ Unbs last mix in the “CALLING” series. Love this and can oly recommend it.

It really shows how versatile and openminded the dubstep style is. That dubtsepp is able to dialogue with so many other styles all united in dee subbass makes it in moment my favourite music genre.

It contains Dubstep infused with Arabic, Cumbia, Tango, Greek, Turkish, Balkan, Swing, Bhangra, Kuduro, Safari and Dancehall inflexions!!!!!!

Vj in 3D – U Thumderdome event video

Now that looks interesting … its ben done before by like of Hexstatic and Coldcut but still we could de with more of 3D.. as long it brings live visuals to more central focus for the party crowd.

A sweet and very creative ad microsite for a turkish bank or similar financial company.
A nice example that online advertising , even for such a boring money subject, can be pretty creative and emational
The design style of the site is “hand-made” in best was.

Anyway a nice example of good online motiongraphics, and creativity

The Heavy live rocked Cologne

The HEAVY - live in COlogne

Last Friday I was lucky to see one of the best live bands yes. The Heavy (Ninjatune) were in Cologne, in Gebäude 9 . A nice location I know from doing live visuals with Retinafunk for Pathfinder drum and bass partys.

Anyway the show was rally nice if a bit short…but the band gave 100%.
The band played tight and powerfull, and the singer has a awesome soul voice, remided me a lot of Curtis Mayfield.
One of the few singers who sound live even better than studio.

I shot only very few photos and 1 video:

As I could not find any other Videos from the Cologne gig online, I post this one of the Heavy live:
