A new tiny japanese Head-Mounted Display might come out in 2008 fro the consumer market.
if this really hits the market next year it could be a big success.
This Head-Mounted Display from Japan might be the ultimate preview monitor for VJs,as well as great for lots of other uses, like watching movies with your mobile video player or ipod.

After we have heard of remote control VJ applications like Resolume with PocketPCs,
here an interesting take on mobile VJ remote control.
This crew is developing a project where the Ninetendo DS is used as VJ remote for VVVV patches. VVVV is a modula VJ tool I still have to check out properly.
Read more here:

While we are at Ninetendo and VJing, plase check out this project too:

This guy called pikilipita is using a Ninetendo Gameboy Advance and custom software for VJing, and in this case the VJ content is generated by the gameboy advance too.
Mobile Vjing is definely coming on slowly. REtinafunk crew really looks forward to
the day where we can remote control out set from the dancefloor using some similar solution.Yeah ..no more hiding behind the VJ PCs.
A new video mixer for VJs is out. At 365€ its cheaper and smaller than the V4 and seems reasonable powerfull..2 TBCs and MIDI controll .
We might get one as more easier to transport replacement / complement to our V5.
Check it out
